Imagine this; it has just snowed, there are little patches of grass around and the sky is a sharp blue reflecting beautifully onto the water making this swan GLOW. Then there’s me, absolutely mesmerized by the perfect light and colors I was seeing. As cold as I was, I didn’t want to leave. I had been dreaming of painting a big swan and now she’s here. I felt that a close up portrait would be perfect for a frame like this.
